Throughout my college career, I had the opportunity to gain practical experience through internships and coursework in various aspects of production, including pre-production and post-production. I wrote and produced three original short films, including a short film following my life over the course of a year after my dad’s sudden passing. As an intern at Rutgers University, I have created content reflecting current social media trends for the NJ Ticks 4 Science program, which gave them greater exposure and helped their mission become widely known in New Jersey.

 

Currently, I am a Producer & Editor at Gellman Images and I have a documentary in this year’s Garden State Film Festival. I served as the editor as well as head researcher, interviewer, held panels with the participants of the film, wrote press releases, and communicated with the press. Additionally, the documentary received local news coverage on CBS News New York, Asbury Park Press, New Jersey 101.5, and 107.1 The Boss.

 

This project taught me how to time-manage, multitask, and resolve conflict. Moreover, this experience allowed me to be in charge of a production timeline and learn first-hand about the amount of hard-work, dedication, and ambition that production requires. I have developed skills in screenwriting, storyboarding, camera work, lighting, sound design, and editing. My skills are not solely in video production. I have marketing, graphic design, and web design experience.

 

When I am not at work you can find me watching TV shows and movies (I currently have a goal to watch 200 new movies this year!), spending time with friends, or pointing out the constellation Cassiopea.
